Shower of Love for Crisis Nursery

APRIL 29, 2010- On May 6, 2010 Shop 'n Save is helping the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery collect baby item donations through the 3rd annual Shower of Love event.  All St. Charles Shop 'n Save locations will have Saint Louis Crisis Nursery representatives collecting much needed baby item donations to benefit teen moms and their babies who utilize services from the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery, Mary Queen of Angels, Our Lady's Inn and Youth in Need.  The most needed items are diapers sizes 4 - 6 but all new baby items are welcome including formula, wipes, baby food, baby wash and more.  To learn more about this event please visit the Shower of Love website www.freewebs.com/showeroflove.   And to learn more about the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery including their programs and events please go to www.crisisnurserykids.com.


Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

APRIL 29, 2010- Shop 'n Save and Campbell's are teaming up with the National Association of Letter Carriers to help STAMP OUT HUNGER through the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive to benefit many local area food banks in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.  Shop 'n Save has donated 900,000 bags to help the Letter Carriers collect donations all over the metropolitan area.  You'll notice these bags hanging on your door knob requesting you to fill with non-perishable items.  You can fill your bag and leave next to your mailbag on May 8th for your Letter Carrier to pick up.  Or you can visit your Stamp Out Hunger dispaly at your neighborhood Shop 'n Save from May 2nd through May 8th, purchase non-perishable food items and donate at the Stamp Out Hunger barrels at the front of the store.  Either way you can help Stamp Out Hunger with your very generous donations.  For more information regarding this effort please click here. http://stampouthunger.info/#/30097/

 


Shop 'n Save Teams up With Milkbone and the Canine Assistant Program

MARCH 30, 2010 - Shop 'n Save and Milkbone are very proud to announce a partnership that will help a local High Ridge, Missouri woman with severe health issues.  On Friday, April 23rd at the High Ridge Shop 'n Save location there will be an award ceremony for Kerry and her family where they will learn all about their new Canine Assistant being donated to them by Shop 'n Save and Milkbone.  "We are absolutely thrilled to be able to team up with Milkbone to help Kerry." states Marlene Gebhard, president Shop 'n Save.

Your Change Can Make a Difference at Shop 'n Save

MARCH 30, 2010 - Starting April 4th associates at all Metropolitan Area Shop 'n Save locations have an important question for their customers, "Would you like to ROUND UP your order?"  That's because they're raising money for and awareness of the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery, a charitable organization that helps thousands of children in need in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.  Shop 'n Save's goal is to raise over $100,000 for this organization from April 4th through June 12th.
