  • 1 tablespoon Essential Everyday Pure Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh gingerroot
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 pound ground lamb or pork
  • 1 medium potato peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Essential Everyday Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Essential Everyday Salt
  • 1 15 ounce can Essential Everyday Tomato Sauce
  • 10 ounces fresh spinach leaves chopped
  • 3/4 cup Essential Everyday Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala spice blend
  • - cooked Essential Everyday Basmati Rice
  • - whole wheat Naan optional


In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions, ginger and garlic; sauté 3-5 minutes or until onions are tender.

Add in lamb; cook and crumble until cooked through. Add in potatoes, coriander, cumin, cayenne and salt. Sauté 1 minute. Stir in tomato sauce; reduce heat and simmer 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in spinach; continue simmering 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are soft, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat; stir in whipping cream and Garam Masala.

Serve with cooked basmati rice and Naan, if desired.
