Chocolate Pecan Pie


  • Prepare pie crust according to one-crust package directions; do not bake. Fill with chocolate chips. Place on baking sheet; set aside.
  • In small saucepan over medium heat, combine corn syrup, butter, sugar and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently; boil 1 minute or until all sugar is dissolved. Let cool slightly.
  • In large bowl, combine eggs, vanilla and salt. Slowly pour sugar mixture into eggs, whisking constantly, until well combined. Stir in pecans; pour into pie crust.
  • Bake in a preheated 325°F oven 45-55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Store in refrigerator.
